Non-oriented Magnetics Rotor Grade (RG)

Ed Fagan Inc. supplies  EFI Alloy 50 RG in a hard-as- rolled condition for blanking flat lamination with minimum burring.  EFI Alloy 50 RG is cold rolled to have non-directional magnetic domains.


Rotor grade (RG) is used for making rotors in electric motors.  Ed Fagan Inc. calls this grade EFI 50 Alloy RG. It’s properties are specified in ASTM A753 and typical values can be found on our properties page.  


Our in-house capabilities provide customers with the ability to have their materials slit and shipped to their preferred width.


EFI Alloy 50 Strip Coil Oriented Magnetics Transformer Grade (TG)


Transformer grade has coaxial magnetic domains.  It is available by special order from our suppliers.  Oriented magnetics transformer grade (TG) is used in transformers.  Please call and speak to our sales team for lead times.


EFI Alloy 50 Strip Coil Non-oriented Shielding grade (SG)

When your next design requires an electro-magnetic interference (EMI) shield, non-oriented shielding grade (SG) should be considered along with another alloy we inventory, EFI Alloy 79.  Contact us for technical assistance.
