Molybdenum TZM Description
Molybdenum TZM (0.40-0.55% Titanium, 0.06-0.12% Zirconium, 0.01-0.04% Carbon for carbide formations and balance Molybdenum) excels in high temperature applications that experience demanding mechanical loads. This alloy possesses a higher recrystallization temperature than Molybdenum and exhibits higher strength and hardness. In addition, TZM has more than 10 times the creep resistance of Molybdenum, as well as good ductility, good thermal conductivity and possesses many other properties which makes it an excellent material for elevated temperature applications.
